MagicBands are another new innovation that add convenience to your trip. Once you’ve typed in your details in the My Disney Experience app, you can personalize your MagicBands and have them delivered to your home. These rubber bracelets include all the data you’ll need for your stay, such as your ticket, FastPass+ selections, hotel key, and meal reservations. You can also use MagicBands to make purchases in place of a credit card.

The FastPass+ system lets you skip hour-long queues at rides and attractions. You can start booking 60 days ahead if you’re staying at a Disney Resort, and 30 days ahead if you’re booked at another hotel. Using FastPass+, you can choose to advance on three attractions in each theme park.

Some Disney World travel tips can make your vacation more memorable. If you’re going to Disney World to celebrate a milestone, you can stop by City Hall to pick up a Celebration Button. These allow cast members to go out of their way to make celebrants feel extra special. The best part? These buttons are completely free!
5. Make Use of Rider Switch
This is a neat feature for groups with children or adults who are unable to ride certain attractions. With Rider Switch (also called “Child Swap”), a guest waits with the non-riding child or adult, and waits while his or her party goes on the ride. When the party returns, the waiting guest gets to go on the ride without having to wait in line.
6. Take an Art Class for Free
Disney World travel tips aren’t complete without freebies. If you’re a guest at any Disney World hotel resort, here’s your chance to unleash your inner artist. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offers free drawing classes every day at 11 AM, 2PM, and 5 PM. Now you can learn how animators draw all your favorite characters from Disney films.
7. Change a Nappy at Baby Care Centers
All parents know that traveling with little ones can get hectic. The experience gets more stressful when parents don’t have the space to attend to their baby’s needs. Fortunately, Baby Care Centers have all the amenities you need to soothe and care for your baby. Each Baby Care Center includes a private nursing room, a feeding area, a changing room, and even a TV!
8. Got a Blister? Head to First Aid
Located at every theme park, First Aid is your go-to for minor scrapes and boo-boos. Nurses are available to give you quick remedies, such as bandages or over-the-counter medicine. If you ever feel unwell, a quick stop at First Aid will have you feeling better in no time.
9. Use Your Extra Magic Hours
Extra Magic Hours are an added benefit for Disney World Resort hotel guests. Every day, a chosen park opens earlier and closes later. This allows Disney World Resort guests to have extra time with designated attractions, minus the long queues.
