Hilton Grand Vacations Orlando Review: A Hotel for the Family
1. Keep the Kids Busy
Even if it’s a family vacation, parents need some solo rest time too. To fulfill this need, Hilton Grand Vacations has an indoor theater where kids can watch free movies. If a snack is more likely to distract your little one, they can even ask for free gelato at the Marketplace.
2. Chill by the Poolside
Florida is a good place to be a beach bum, but Hilton Grand Vacations Orlando will give you good reason to chill by the pool instead. The resort pool is open whole year round. It’s heated and comes with a whirlpool and a waterslide. Right across from the main pool is a lazy river that’s 892 feet long with fountains and water cannons. Overall, the resort has three expansive swimming pools, two wading pools for children, and a waterfall.
Additionally, there are six cabanas tailored for pampered, private, and shaded settings. Each cabana includes a 37-inch flat-screen TV, card table with chairs, privacy curtains, ceiling fans, and small refrigerators. Guests can ask for food and beverage service by the pool from the Tropics Pool Bar and Grill.
3. For the Sports-minded Family
A family into sports will definitely enjoy the hotel’s recreation areas. Aside from the pool, the hotel offers a basketball and tennis court. There are also paddle tennis tables and pool tables.
For those who prefer to exercise solo, there are fitness rooms and jogging and walking tracks you can enjoy. Kids can also exercise on the playground. If you’re worried about your children playing by themselves, the hotel also offers a supervised recreation program for all ages.
4. Luxurious Rooms
Even if you just want to stay in your room, you can still have the perfect vacation. After all, the room amenities at the Hilton Grand Vacations are fit for a king! Guests can choose from three different types of rooms: studio, 1-bedroom suite, or 2-bedroom suite. The studio’s size is 400 square feet, while the 1-bedroom suite and 2-bedroom suite are even more spacious at 878 square feet and 1,225 square feet respectively.
The studios have a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave. They also come with a mini-refrigerator, toaster, sink, and coffee maker. Each studio comes with a queen bed, and there are select studios that also come with a sleeper sofa.
Each suite also has a luxurious master bathroom that includes a whirlpool tub. Just like the studios, the suites have a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, suites have a separate living and dining room, and they also have their own washer and dryer. All rooms have WiFi and DVD players.

One of the best things about the Hilton Orlando is it’s basically a stone’s throw away from the famous Orlando theme parks. SeaWorld Orlando is just across the street from the Hilton, while Aquatica and Discovery Cove are about a mile away. Additionally, the Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are just 4 miles away. Making the distance seem even shorter, the resort also offers free shuttle services to these theme parks.
